Advocate’s program generator will help you to create & update programs to start serving your community in minutes! You can even invite partner administrators and organizations to co-manage the program with you.
Nonprofit organizations can make their program public or private based on what’s best for the people they serve. Recipients can quickly add applications for themselves and household members using their existing profile information to speed up the process!
Organizations are able to assign administrators to review applications, which include all the household information, application question responses, and even the status of other applications on the Advocate platform. This step helps organizations verify that the recipient is eligible for their resource before requests are made.
If an application is approved, a recipient is notified, and they are able to add their requests into a wishlist for each approved member of the household. Administrators can review these requests or make new ones on the recipient’s behalf as well.
Once all the requests in a wishlist are approved, they are ready to be fulfilled. Each wishlist can be viewed by donors in the community, with customizable information about the recipient to maintain privacy, and donors have the option to fulfill the requests. If they choose to fulfill them, they can choose available timeslots to bring in physical gifts, or give financially to the nonprofit to meet the need. Organizations can also fulfill the requests themselves!
Advocate coordinates last-mile delivery, allowing each requested item to be tracked until it reaches the recipient. This allows for organized distributions and meaningful reports, which leads to less admin, better program outcomes and potentially greater funding!
